MSR introduces updated Ceramic Pots with Fusion ceramic coating, the best choice for nonstick performance
SEATTLE, Wash. (May 30, 2018)— Seattle-based Mountain Safety Research® (MSR®), the high-performance outdoor equipment brand, introduces an updated line of Ceramic Nonstick pots using durable Fusion®ceramic coating – the most durable option MSR has found for premium, nonstick ceramic to date.
These ultralight nonstick aluminum pots will be available in multiple sizes – a 1.7L Solo Pot, a 2.5L pot for groups of 2-4 people, a 2-Pot Set option, featuring a 1.5L, 2.5L pot and Ceramic Skillet. The entire lineup features MSR’s easy to use Talon Pot Handle and a strainer lid, making real backcountry cooking easier than ever. As is standard for MSR cookware, these pots are designed to nest inside one another and conveniently hold MSR mugs and plates, depending on the pot size.
The Fusion ceramic coating is safe with metal utensils, safe at high heat and safe for your health, making it the best choice on the market for nonstick performance at camp. While other ceramic coatings tend to break down at around 650 degrees, the PFTE- and PFOA-free Fusion ceramic coating holds strong when used at temperatures up to 850 degrees, making it the healthiest cookware on the market.
“MSR’s new cookware with Fusion ceramic coating is the best choice for backcountry chefs who demand durable, nonstick performance at camp,” says Scott Youmans, Stove and Cookware Category Manager at MSR. “Fusion is the toughest ceramic we’ve ever found, and safer than other nonstick alternatives on the market.”
